Progression through the levels at Canine Hoopers UK competitions is achieved purely by earning progression points for clear rounds and successfully completing handling challenges. Progression is not based on class wins, which means that accuracy and consistency is key, extra points can be earned by completing handling challenges. For more information check out the Canine Hoopers UK Rule Book, you can download the latest version from the FILES page and we always recommend glancing through the rules before you attend a show, but don’t worry there will be plenty of people around to help at a show if there is anything you’re unsure of.
There are 4 separate progression routes in the classes of Hoopers, Barrellers, Tunnellers and Touch N Go. Teams, Pairs and Specials do not earn progression points but are great fun to compete in!
Remember, you will need to register with Canine Hoopers UK before you compete at a show, you must make sure that you use your registration numbers when entering classes, even if you enter on the day, otherwise we will not be able to allocate your points, unfortunately this cannot be added after the show. Registration can be done online and lasts for the lifetime of the dog, head to our MEMBERSHIP page to register now!
On these pages you will find points tables for each level: Starters, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced and Masters.
Dogs will only be listed once they have earnt relevant points at CHUK events. Please note that it may take up to 30 days after the end of the event for your points to show online.
The search bar at the top of the tables will allow you to search for you dog’s points by their name or CHUK number.
